It's crucial for companies to learn how to discern the quality of storage racks during the acceptance process. Racks are a vital storage equipment in warehouses, directly in contact with goods, so any quality issues during use can lead to significant losses for the company. So, how can one judge the quality of racks during acceptance?
Based on the shelf structure, we can assess the quality of the shelves from three aspects:
The material of the racking itself: The material used in the racking itself is the fundamental component, and thus the quality of the material will directly determine the quality of the racking. Different materials used in the racking will also affect its load-bearing capacity. Therefore, to ensure the quality of the racking, enterprises must purchase materials that meet the specifications when sourcing raw materials.
2. Shelving Structure: The shelf pillars should have a uniform and frequent bending in the cross-section, with more and more even symmetry indicating a better structure. The shelf beams should be examined for their hook structure and the way they attach to the pillars: more hooks on the beam are preferable, as they distribute the load better; the hooks should fit snugly on the pillars, with the hook's interior closely contacting the pillar's side without gaps, ensuring a stable and durable structure that withstands loads over time.
3. Rack Surface Treatment: The surface coating of the racks must be even and have strong adhesion. To check for evenness, inspect the inner edge of the rack posts for any missed spots; no missed spots are ideal. During inspection, gently tap with a hard object; if the paint easily peels off, it indicates the rack's surface coating is substandard.
