During the operation of the drum conveyor, it is essential to adhere to the specifications of the items in the design of the items being conveyed and to comply with the design capacity of the belt conveyor. Five common operating tips for belt conveyor operation:
Turn off the main power switch of the drum conveyor, check if the equipment power is supplied normally and if the power indicator light is on. Proceed to the next step upon confirmation.
Step the roller conveyor's power switches for all circuits to the "off" position, and check for proper operation. Normal conditions are as follows: the equipment remains inactive, the roller conveyor's operational indicator light is unlit, the power indicator lights for devices like the variable-frequency drive are on, and the display panel of the variable-frequency drive shows normal operation (no fault codes displayed).
The roller conveyor sequentially starts each electrical device according to the production process. The next electrical device is initiated only after the previous one on the roller conveyor has started normally (the motor or other equipment has reached normal speed and condition).
Fourthly, it is crucial to ensure that no personnel come into contact with the moving parts of the roller conveyor. Non-specialists should not arbitrarily touch electrical components, control buttons, and the like.
During the operation of the drum conveyor, the circuit breaker after the variable frequency inverter must not be interrupted. If maintenance is required, it must be done only when the variable frequency operation is stopped, otherwise, the inverter may be damaged.
