Epoxy floor paint is a particularly beautiful and durable type of flooring. Since the mid to late 20th century, many cleanroom floors have emerged in Europe and America. These floors use an integral polymer coating known as epoxy floor paint, primarily composed of epoxy resin and hardener. The application method keeps the ground looking new and extends its lifespan. What are the maintenance methods for epoxy floor paint in factory renovations?
After leveling work is completed, the surface needs to be cured for 7-10 days before it can be put into use. During the curing period, avoid water or other liquids from soaking the surface.
Employees entering the workshop must change into non-slip soled shoes (not foam-bottomed black shoes), to prevent bringing in outdoor dirt and sand that could scratch the floor.
3. All hardware items, such as iron chairs, tables, and shelves, must have their legs wrapped with soft plastic, rubber, or padded with cardboard to prevent scratching the floor during use.
4. Ensure the implement plate is fully elevated from the ground, and be particularly careful not to scrape the ground with the plate corners during turns.
5. When cleaning the floor, please use a soft, absorbent mop or a wet/dry vacuum cleaner. It can be cleaned with water or cleaning agents, but please be cautious of the slippery surface.
6. If wear or scratches occur due to extended use, minor areas can be patched locally. For larger areas, it is recommended to recoat the surface entirely.
7. Prior to the equipment's arrival, lay cardboard boxes on the ground level to prevent any damage to the floor during transportation.
8. Please use rigid or elastic rubber tires for the wheels of carts and hand trucks, and use them separately indoors and outdoors in the factory.
9. Available for waxing treatment according to ground specifications (which can prevent scratching of the surface).
