How to Choose Stepper Motors and Drivers:
Torque Requirement: Static torque is one of the key parameters in selecting stepper motors. When high loads are involved, a high-torque motor is necessary. Larger torque ratings correspond to larger motor dimensions.
To determine the motor running speed: When higher rotational speed is required, select a motor with higher phase current and lower inductance to increase power input. Additionally, use a higher supply voltage when choosing the driver.
Selecting the motor installation specifications: such as 57, 86, 110, etc., primarily relates to torque requirements.
Determine the requirements for positioning accuracy and vibration: Assess whether segmentation is necessary and the extent of segmentation needed.
Choose the driver based on the motor's current, resolution, and supply voltage.
