(1) Drill or secure the ultra-pure water equipment at designated locations. The holes should be smooth, with precise depth and spacing, and the hole edges must be free of cracks, gaps, or burrs.
(2) Connect to the water main. First, close the main water valve, connect the ultra-pure water unit, and wrap the joints with rubber tape to ensure no leaks.
(3) Connect the wastewater outlet. The pure water machine can directly insert the drain pipe into the drain line, leaving some space at the port to prevent wastewater from backflowing into the drinking water equipment and to avoid the occurrence of "siphon" at the drain outlet; if the drain pipe of the drinking water equipment is directly inserted into the drain line, install a ball valve at the end of the drain pipe, which can be opened at irregular intervals to serve as a drain; alternatively, the drain pipe can be directly connected to the original water tap. Ensure a tight connection between the drain pipe and the drinking water equipment's drain outlet to prevent any leaks.
(4) Connect purified water outlets to purification faucets. For flow rates over 500 liters, directly use 4-inch pipes with standard faucets; for flow rates under 500 liters, choose to connect with a 4-to-2 adapter to the purified water outlet, then link to a 2-inch faucet via 2-inch white PE pipe. When connecting the 2-inch pipes, first flatten the pipe ends, then screw on the nut, insert the pipe plug into the PE pipe, secure it, and finally, insert the PE pipe about 1 cm beyond the nut into the connector and tighten.
(5) Faucet Installation: To install a faucet on a sink, use a sink hole saw for stainless steel sinks. For wall-mounted faucets, use a wall bracket to secure the faucet to the wall. The connection method is the same as in (4), ensuring the fastening is tight and there is no movement.
(6) Open the main inlet ball valve and adjust the water purifier (adjustment steps can be found in Maintenance and Care), observe for any leaks at the joints, and monitor for at least 2 hours. Place a clean, dry towel beneath the water purifier to check for any seepage.
