Adhering to the principle of "first the bottom, then the edges; first the distant, then the near," it is advisable to prioritize the areas with dense nodes and drainage.
The application of polyester fabric should be flat and straight, with accurate overlap dimensions, without distortion. The overlap area of the polyester fabric should be sealed with excess hot-melt modified asphalt, followed by immediate scraping and sealing of the joints.
Piping, equipment, and embedded parts should be fully installed before polyester fabric construction. Drilling holes or placing sharp, heavy objects on the completed polyester waterproofing layer is strictly prohibited.
All阴阳corners are rounded with 1:3 cement mortar, forming a radius R=50 or an 80*80mm bevel slope.
Upon completion of the waterproofing construction, roof sprinkling or enclosed water tests were conducted to inspect for water accumulation and leakage. After confirming no water pooling or seepage, the project was handed over for inspection, meeting the planning and standard requirements.
When working with polyester fabric, the construction environment temperature should not be below 5°C, and construction is prohibited during rain, snow, fog, and under wind conditions of five levels or above.
The sub-layer must be solid and level, with no unevenness or severe cracks. When checked with a 2-meter ruler, the gaps should not exceed 5mm, and the depression depth should not exceed 3mm. All holes and cracks must be filled and smoothed with mortar. After allowing it to settle for 3 to 4 hours, lifting the sub-layer and not seeing any watermarks on the polyester fabric is acceptable.
Before laying polyester fabric, the underlying surface should be thoroughly cleaned, free of any loose dust.
The choice of a base treatment should be compatible with the properties of the polyester fabric, and the foam should be evenly distributed.
