Basic Information of PTFE Extrusion Bar

  • Features：

    • Excellent heat and cold resistance, suitable for long-term use at -180～260°C (-200°C to +260°C as some sources mention).

    • Acid and alkali resistant; almost insoluble in all solvents, except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.

    • Features excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, particularly suitable for applications involving bending and swinging.

    • Low water absorption, self-lubricating, and non-stick.

Applications of PTFE Compression Bar

  • Chemical industry: Suitable for anti-corrosion materials, used in manufacturing various anti-corrosive components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and pipe joints. Also, it can be used for lining and coating of chemical equipment like reactors and distillation towers.

  • Mechanical aspectsSuitable for self-lubricating bearings, piston rings, oil seals, and gaskets. Its self-lubricating property reduces mechanical wear and heat generation, thereby lowering energy consumption.
