When selecting an oil seal pump, first understand if the vacuum system has specific oil contamination requirements. If strict oil-free equipment is required, opt for various oil pumps, such as water ring pumps, low-temperature pumps, etc. If the requirements are not strict, oil pumps like chillers, separators, baffles, etc., can be chosen. They can also meet the clean vacuum requirements. Consider the composition of the extracted gas, including whether it contains condensable vapor, dust, corrosiveness, and more.
1. The single screw pump neither draws water nor drains it.
The cause could be due to a stuck bottom valve, clogged filter components, excessive water intake height, or water leakage during intake, or the impeller passage being blocked due to incorrect orientation. After a thorough inspection, measures such as repairing the bottom valve, clearing silt, adjusting the directional orientation, and cleaning the impeller can be taken.
2. Severe vibration of screw pump
Electrical rotors may be unbalanced or the coupling assembly may be poor, leading to bearing wear and bending; certain rotating parts may also become loose and crack; this could be due to unstable pipeline supports, among other causes. Adjustments, repairs, reinforcement, and replacements can be made.
When pipes leak or are leaking gas, the nuts cannot be tightened.
If the leak is not severe, you can apply cement or asphalt oil-soaked cement paste at the air or water leak location, and coat the temporary repair area with some wet mud or soft soap. If there's a leak at the joint, you can tighten the nut by hand. For severe leaks, a reassembly is necessary.
Currently, the working pressure of gear pumps is approaching that of plunger pumps, and the combined load sensing solution offers variable possibilities for gear pumps, meaning the original clear boundary between gear and plunger pumps becomes broader and more blurred. One of the decisive factors in choosing a hydraulic pump solution is the overall system cost; compared to the expensive plunger pumps, gear pumps have become the practical choice in many cases due to their low cost, simple circuitry, and lower filtration requirements.
