So, what is hot stamping vacuum forming? Typically, hot stamping vacuum forming packaging consists of a transparent vacuum forming cover and a paper card. The product is placed into the vacuum forming, then into the hot stamping mold, followed by the paper card, and finally heated and pressed by a hot stamping machine to bond the vacuum forming and paper card together.

Materials commonly used in heat-stabilized vacuum forming are PET and PVC. PET is environmentally friendly and has high transparency, but it demands higher quality for colored cards. PVC is flame-retardant and cold-resistant, making it easier to heat-stabilize with paper cards compared to PET. However, in some countries, PVC is considered non-environmentally friendly. Therefore, when exporting products, attention must be given to the selection of materials.
