Cautionary Notes
Grinders must run in the forward direction; avoid reverse operation.
2. Granulators must be operated with loaded, hot machines to avoid the occurrence of clogging (axle seizing).
Feed opening of granulator strictly prohibits the entry of iron and other debris. To avoid unnecessary accidents and affect the safety and normal production.
II. Precautions during the granulator operation
1. Always monitor the body temperature; increase the temperature immediately when the strips feel clean and don't stick to your hands. Continue warming until the strips naturally stick to your hands, which is considered normal.
2. When the bearing part of the reducer overheats or produces noise, stop the machine immediately for timely inspection and oil replenishment.
When the bearing sections at both ends of the main bearing chamber are too hot to touch or there is a noise, shut down for maintenance and add grease. During normal operation, add grease to the bearing chamber every 5 to 6 days.
4. Note the machine's operating patterns; for example, the temperature variations, the speed of rotation. Adjust promptly according to the situation.
When the aircraft operates unstable, pay attention to check if the clearance between the shaft couplings is too tight, and adjust it to be looser in a timely manner.
Step 3: First Boot-Up Operation Method
Prior to startup, preheat for approximately 40-50 minutes. Increase the temperature until the motor triangle belt can be pulled smoothly with your hands; pull it in the normal working direction eight to ten times consecutively. Then continue to heat for about ten more minutes before turning on the machine, but keep the heating going as normal production requires a continuous supply of heat; adjust the temperature according to the different properties of the plastic.
2. During normal operation of the granulator, the machine temperature must be kept stable, avoiding fluctuations between high and low. The temperature around the vent holes and up to the head area should be maintained at approximately 200℃ (referring to propylene and butylene materials).
3. The feeding must be even, with no shortages. The machine's feeding speed should match the supply speed appropriately. Otherwise, it will affect the quality and yield of the granules.
During downtime, the main power must be completely disconnected. The head nut (including the wrench part) must be removed. Preheat separately before the next use.
