When outdoor installation of air-cooled chillers is permitted, appropriate shading measures should be taken, but they must not obstruct the cooling air flow. Shading can also be achieved with non-closely woven safety covers!
2. Surround the air-cooled chiller unit with at least 1 meter of clear space to ensure smooth air circulation, thereby enhancing the condenser's cooling efficiency and facilitating installation. This promotes air flow and ensures a longer lifespan!
3. Air-cooled chillers should be installed outdoors, ensuring unobstructed intake and exhaust. When indoor placement of the chiller is necessary, use ducts to expel hot air to the outside, and avoid any short-circuiting of the intake.
4. Inspect the water circulation system for blockages or air pockets, and perform exhaust procedures. If the circulation volume is too low, consider using an open-type chilled water circulation system. It's highly recommended to have a professional perform regular inspections and maintenance!
5. Treatment for Insufficient Refrigerant in Chiller: When the water temperature is above 5°C and the low-pressure indicator is below 2 kgf/cm², it indicates insufficient refrigerant. Generally, we must first seal the leak in the refrigerant, then replace the desiccant, perform a vacuum treatment, and refill with the appropriate amount of refrigerant. If you find the leaking refrigerant part submerged in water, immediately stop the chiller operation, quickly drain the water in the tank, and promptly arrange for maintenance to prevent the compressor from drawing in water, which could cause more severe damage.
