1. Secure products with bolts
For products with bolts at the bottom, they can be secured onto skids or sleepers. When fastening to sleepers, a bottom support should be used under the floor. For items without holes at the bottom but featuring bolt holes on the sides, they can be mounted using steel plates or L-shaped steel plates. Due to significant lateral impacts during vehicle operation, attention must be given to the bolts' shear strength.
2. Secure products with stop blocks
To prevent the product from moving horizontally within the wooden packaging box, in addition to bolt fastening, product blocking can also be used for fixation.
3. Secure products with a pressure bar
When there are no bolt holes at the bottom of the product, or when bolt holes exist but cannot be utilized, a clamp can be used to secure the product inside a wooden packaging box. The clamp is a bent component, and its cross-section should be upright to increase its moment of inertia. Connect the clamp to the box bottom using a bar, and apply pressure to the product through bolts. When the product has suitable securing points, a steel fixing can replace the clamp.
4. Utilizing support and fixation for products
The purpose of the support is to prevent the product from tilting or shaking during transportation. The support acts as a lever, with a thickness greater than one-third of its length, and its angle of inclination should be between 35 and 55 degrees. The lower end can be supported by other components within the wooden crate. If there are no other components available in the wooden crate, a groove wood should be set at the lower end, and not solely rely on nails for support.
