1. Mechanical Separation Method. The drum-type stripping machine processing method is suitable for handling waste wires and cables with the same diameter. This equipment performs excellent stripping of waste wires and cables.
2. Low Temperature Freezing Method. The low temperature freezing method is suitable for processing various specifications of wires and cables. The waste wires and cables are first frozen to make the insulation brittle, and then shaken and crushed to separate the insulation from the copper wire.
3. Chemical Strip Method. This method utilizes an organic solvent to dissolve the insulation layer of waste wires, achieving the separation of copper wire from the insulation. The advantage of this method is that it yields copper wire, but the drawback is that the treatment of the solution is challenging, and the cost of the solvent is high. The technological direction for this method is to research an inexpensive and practical effective solvent.
4. Pyrolysis Method: Waste cables are first sheared, then fed into the pyrolysis chamber by a conveying feeder for pyrolysis. The copper wire produced is transported to the discharge water-sealed pool by a grate conveyor, and then loaded into the product collector. The copper wire can be used as raw material for producing refined copper.
