In everyday life, the presence of plastic is ubiquitous. How much do you know about POM, the plastic material used to produce these plastic products? Firstly, here are some storage precautions for POM:
(1) POM, being a flammable material, requires fire prevention measures during storage. No smoking or open flames should be permitted in areas storing plastic raw materials, and electrical issues must be carefully monitored.
(2) Storage areas for plastic materials should be kept clean; plastic raw materials must not be stored in dusty and humid locations.
(3) Plastic raw materials should be stored at room temperature and not in environments that are too hot or too cold. The humidity should be maintained between 10% and 90%.
(4) Proper time records should be maintained for the storage of POM plastic materials. As the storage shelf life for most plastic raw materials is relatively short, it is important to utilize the materials within this period.
