Moisture within compressed air can also cause the abrasive in an automatic sandblasting machine to become damp. For all automatic sandblasting machines using centralized supply, whether in outdoor or indoor settings, a reliable compressed air dew-point removal system or device is essential. Water in the air storage tanks and steel pipes must be thoroughly drained before work begins. The use of an automatic drain valve can prevent accidents caused by accidental negligence. Due to temperature variations between day and night, condensation water may form inside steel pipes, especially on Monday mornings or before the start of new projects, so this issue should be particularly noted.
To further minimize the possibility of moisture from compressed air entering the Dongguan shot blasting machine, the following methods can be adopted.
Upon starting the air compressor with the exhaust valve closed, the air compressor preheats. Detach the air pipe from the Dongguan shot blasting machine (please ensure safety during this process). Once prepared, gently open the exhaust valve on the air compressor or the valve on the compressed air pipeline to drain water from within the air compressor or pipeline. Then, reconnect the air pipe to the Dongguan shot blasting machine.
