Patrol Security Officer Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for directing and guiding the entry and exit of vehicles, as well as the safety management of the parking lot. Maintain order in the parking area and ensure the fire lanes remain clear.
2. Responsible for inspecting vehicle and parking facility conditions, maintaining vehicle condition records. If any damage or scratches are found on vehicles parked in the community, please report it immediately to the on-duty team leader or property management. 3. Vehicles entering residential areas must be parked in designated parking spaces. Parking is prohibited in driving lanes, fire lanes, sidewalks, green belts, residential activity areas, and non-parking spaces.
4. Security patrol guards should conduct rounds at intervals as stipulated by the security department. Night shift patrol guards must use a powerful flashlight during their rounds. They should illuminate areas with poor lighting or blind spots using the flashlight to deter thieves or suspicious individuals hiding in such locations.
5. Security guards on patrol should check doors that are supposed to be locked according to the security department's regulations, take safety measures for doors and windows that are not locked, and fill out a safety notification form, sliding it under the door to notify residents.
6. Security patrol guards should inspect renovation projects, remodeling works, and new construction sites to ensure they are carried out safely in accordance with regulations, including the use of natural gas, hazardous chemicals, and isolation measures at the construction site. Any violations should be documented and reported to the security manager.
Patrol guards should investigate and document all suspicious activities.
8. Patrol guards should closely collaborate and communicate with security personnel in parking lots, garages, and surveillance rooms to ensure the safety of lives and property.
Patrol guards should immediately report any unusual incidents to the security team leader or property management.
10. Security guards on patrol should remain highly vigilant when encountering suspicious individuals and notify the video surveillance room for monitoring. If the monitoring equipment is not available at the moment or the individual is not within the monitored area, the guards should follow the suspicious person until they are confident there is no issue.
11. Security patrol guards should remain calm and take control measures when encountering angry customers, family members, employees, or patients in emergency situations, to prevent the situation from escalating further.
Patrol guards should clean their work area, fill out the shift handover register, record significant events that occurred during their shift, and hand over items such as keys, two-way radios, pagers, etc.
13. Security guards on patrol are not allowed to leave their posts until the handover to the relieving guard is complete, and they must stand at attention and salute each other during the handover.
14. Should any loss be incurred due to the neglect or carelessness of security personnel on duty, the on-duty security personnel shall be held responsible for compensation. In severe cases, the company will pursue legal liability.
