During the installation and use of USB sockets, to extend their lifespan and ensure the normal operation of the connectors, we need to pay attention to the following points:
During USB socket installation, be cautious not to install near high-temperature areas or directly on flammable objects to prevent the USB socket from easily catching fire and other natural phenomena.
Please note the waterproof condition of the USB socket for daily use. Generally, after prolonged use, the internal interface of the USB plug may accumulate some dust and debris. Therefore, it is not recommended to clean it with a damp cloth, nor should it come into contact with water. Otherwise, using a damp cloth may lead to electric shock accidents. If water gets onto the internal metal chip, it could cause a short circuit in the plug's circuitry, potentially leading to spontaneous combustion and fire.
When operating the USB socket, be cautious not to pull the wire of the connection plug with your hands or pull it out forcefully. Instead, firmly grip the USB socket and gently pull the plug out along a direction perpendicular to the socket, ensuring not to pull it diagonally to avoid damaging the USB socket's plug.
4. If you notice any surface cracks at the USB socket interface, it's typically unsafe to continue using the USB plug and it should be replaced immediately. Otherwise, a damaged USB socket interface can easily lead to dangerous electrical leakage, and if touched by a person, it poses a risk of electric shock and other potential accidents.
Ensure that the USB plug is fully aligned with the socket's internal holes during insertion and mating. Otherwise, forcing it in without proper alignment can easily cause the internal pins of the USB socket to bend or break.
6. Be mindful that it's generally prohibited to reach inside and touch the internal pins of a USB socket. This is because the internal pins are usually very small and sharp, and touching them can easily cause scratches. Moreover, if you touch the metal chip inside the USB socket, it can easily lead to electric shocks and other accidents.
