Brand retailers, in order to protect their brands and provide consumers with a promise of secure shopping, are attaching anti-counterfeiting labels to each product. We often see these small scratch-off silver stickers on items purchased online, on the outer packaging, or on tags. These labels typically feature QR codes, websites, or 400 customer service phone numbers, allowing us to verify the authenticity of the purchased products through these methods on the label.
Anti-counterfeiting label query steps are as follows:
Scan the QR code on the label with your mobile phone: Scratch the silver scratch-off to reveal a 16-digit anti-counterfeiting code. Scan the QR code on the label with WeChat, and enter the anti-counterfeiting code to view the results. For variable QR codes, simply scratch off the silver scratch-off, scan with WeChat, and the results will appear.
Step 2: Website Inquiry: Visit the website located above the label. Within the "Anti-Counterfeiting Inquiry" navigation, input the anti-counterfeiting code on the label as prompted to verify authenticity.
Three: 400 Phone Inquiry: First, scratch off the silver scratch card on the label to reveal the 16-digit anti-counterfeiting code. Call the 400 phone number listed on the label using your mobile phone, follow the voice prompts, input the 16-digit anti-counterfeiting code sequentially, and you will hear the reported voice to confirm the authenticity of the product.
Regardless of the number of query methods on the anti-counterfeiting label, only one query method can be selected and used once for a correct query. If scanning is chosen as the correct method, using the 400 phone number to query the same code again will result in an audio reminder stating that the anti-counterfeiting code has already been queried. It will also indicate the date of the first query (Month/Day/YYYY) and the number of times it has been queried this time.
