The SDT600 4CS Fork Density Meter is designed for measuring the density or concentration of liquid mediums in tanks and pipelines. Density or concentration measurement is a critical process control in the production process of the product. The fork density meter can serve as an indicator for other quality control parameters such as solid content or concentration values. It meets various measurement requirements for density, concentration, and solid content.
1.2 Working Principle
The SDT600 4CS Series Online Density Concentration Meters utilize an acoustic frequency signal source to excite a metal reed, causing it to vibrate freely at its center frequency. This frequency is correlated with the density of the contacting liquid, allowing for density measurement through frequency analysis. Temperature compensation can then be applied to eliminate system temperature drift. Concentration values at 20°C can be calculated based on the relationship between the liquid's density and concentration.
