Before operation, fill the reducer with the recommended type and quantity of grease. The reducer is lubricated with oil. For vertically installed reducers, since the oil may not ensure reliable lubrication of the upper bearings, additional lubrication measures are employed.
Before operating the ZSY reducer, inject an appropriate amount of lubricating oil into the reducer. The reducer is typically equipped with an oil filling hole and an oil drain plug. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the installation location when ordering the reducer.
The working oil temperature must not exceed 80°C.
The lifetime lubricated gearboxes are filled with synthetic oil at the manufacturing plant. In addition, the gearboxes are typically supplied without lubricant, featuring filling and draining plugs. The amount of gearbox lubricant listed in this sample is an estimated value. The position of the oil level plug should be set according to the predetermined installation location to ensure proper lubrication. The amount of lubricant should be determined based on the specific installation method. If the transmission power exceeds the thermal capacity of the gearbox, an external cooling device must be provided.
