Vortex spray tower tray blades resemble fixed windmill blades. As air flows through the blades, it generates rotation and centrifugal motion. The absorbent liquid is evenly distributed to each blade through a central blind plate, forming a thin liquid film. This film combines with the upward-moving, rotating air to create a centrifugal effect. After spraying, the liquid becomes fine droplets, which are then thrown towards the tower wall. The droplets are collected in a collecting trough under the influence of gravity and flow through a downcomer to the blind area of the next vortex tray in the waste gas treatment tower. The air stream to be treated, with a certain wind pressure and velocity, enters from the bottom of the tower and exits from the top. The absorbent liquid enters from the top and exits from the bottom of the aero-rotary tower. As the air stream and absorbent liquid move relatively within the tower, a large surface area water film is formed at the structural sections of the vortex tower plates, significantly enhancing the absorption process. The absorbent liquid from each level, after undergoing vortex and centrifugal action, falls into the collection trough at the edge and then enters the next level tower plate through a guiding pipe to undergo absorption in the next level.
