Reflective tape, also known as reflective warning tape, is a type of tape that reflects light beams and fluorescence when exposed to light or illumination in dark environments or at night, primarily serving as a warning and reminder.
When applied to signage, reflective film is used on highways and primary roads with - and second-grade reflective film; for traffic signs on second-grade roads, third and fourth-grade reflective film should be used; fourth and fifth-grade reflective film should be used on fourth-grade roads. In summary, different road grades correspond to different grades of reflective film.
Reflective films operate on the same basic principle when used at night: they reflect light back to its source, making it as clear as during the day. Under the same observation and refraction angles, the higher the minimum retroreflective coefficient, the stronger the reflective effect.
