Mullite thermal insulation bricks are high-alumina refractory materials primarily composed of mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. The general aluminum oxide content ranges from 65% to 75%. Besides mullite, the mineral composition includes a low-alumina content with a small amount of glass phase and tridymite; and a higher-alumina content with a small amount of corundum. These bricks can be directly used as the lining for high-temperature furnace linings. They are currently widely employed in the linings of tunnel kilns, roller hearth furnaces, glass, and petrochemical industry furnaces.
Molten Rock Insulating Bricks Application Fields: Primarily used in hot blast furnace roof, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerative chamber, upper structure bricks, upper arch roof, arch foot bricks, chute bricks, cover plates, ceramic sintering furnace, dead corner refractory of oil cracking system, carbon black reaction furnace cooling section and stay section lining in industrial medium-temperature furnace linings. Shaped components, medium-temperature carbon black reaction furnace, and other thermal equipment linings.
