Pulse Dust Collector Introduction

Pulse dust collector, which uses compressed air as the cleaning power source, and relies on the pulse jet mechanism to discharge compressed air instantaneously, inducing multiple times the secondary air intake at high speed into the filter bag, causing the bag to急剧膨胀, and cleaning the dust through impact vibration and reverse airflow.

Pulse jet dust collectors are high-efficiency dust removal and purification equipment, utilizing pulse-jet cleaning methods, boasting advantages such as excellent cleaning effects, high purification efficiency, large gas handling capacity, long filter bag life, minimal maintenance work, and safe and reliable operation; however, they require compressed air, and the performance will significantly degrade if the supplied compressed air pressure does not meet the requirements. Due to the prominent advantages of pulse bag dust collectors, their applications are becoming increasingly widespread.

Pulse dust removal gas comes in various forms, such as reverse jet, forward jet, opposed jet, and rotating jet blowing. Blowing source pressures below 0.25 MPa are classified as low-pressure jet blowing; those above 0.5 MPa are considered high-pressure jet blowing.

Section 2: Principle of Operation for Pulsed Dust Collector

For example, with a pulse-jet dust collector, one end of the pulse valve is connected to the compressed air package, and the other end to the blast tube. The pulse valve's back pressure chamber is connected to the control valve, which is controlled by the pulse control instrument, governing the opening of both the control valve and the pulse valve.
When the controller fails to output a signal, the exhaust port of the control valve is closed, and the nozzle of the pulse valve remains in a closed position.

When the control instrument sends a signal, the control exhaust port opens, releasing the pressure of the gas in the pulse valve's back pressure chamber, causing a pressure drop. A pressure difference is created on both sides of the diaphragm, which leads to its displacement. The pulse valve sprays open, and at this point, compressed air is ejected through the pulse valve via the nozzle tube's small holes (the gas ejected from the nozzle tube is the primary air).

As high-speed airflow passes through the Venturi inducer, it draws in multiple times the surrounding air of the primary wind (referred to as secondary wind) into the filter bag, creating an instantaneous positive pressure inside the bag and achieving dust removal.
