Lab Gas Cylinder Room Pipeline Laying Standard
1. Pipes for conveying dry gases should be installed horizontally. Pipes for conveying moist gases should have a slope of not less than 0.3% and incline towards the condensate collector.
2. Oxygen pipes and other gas pipelines can be mounted on the same frame, with a spacing of not less than 0.25 meters. Oxygen pipes should be installed above the other gas pipelines, except for oxygen pipes.
3. When pipes are laid parallel to flammable gas pipes, the distance between them should not be less than 0.50m. When crossing, the spacing should not be less than 0.25m. When laid in layers, the pipes should be on top. Indoor pipes should not be laid in ditches or directly buried. Avoid passing through unsuitable rooms.
4. Gas pipelines should not be installed on the same frame as cables and wiring laid on-site.
5. Gases should be transported using seamless steel pipes. Pipes for gases with a purity of 99% or higher should be made of stainless steel, copper, or seamless steel pipes.
6. The connection sections of pipes and equipment should be made with metal pipes. For non-metallic flexible hoses, polytetrafluoroethylene pipes and polyvinyl chloride pipes should replace rubber hoses.
Valves and accessories materials: Copper materials should not be used for gas pipelines. Other gas pipelines can be made of copper, carbon steel, malleable cast iron, and other materials.
