1. The core product
The body and components are cast in high-grade FC-30 cast iron in one piece. After undergoing normalizing heat treatment by hand, they are further processed with natural aging. The machining of components utilizes world-class equipment from YASDA, MITSUI SEIKI, TOSHIBA, and ELB, ensuring one-time clamping and processing. Precise dimensions down to the micron level are achievable, guaranteeing high precision for the base components of the equipment.
2. Main shaft system
Utilizing Taiwan's original spindle, the SNCM-21H alloy steel is heat treated and carburized, followed by computer-controlled deep cooling processing. The surface hardness exceeds HRC-62°, with a single-side effective hardened layer of over 1.5mm, and the spindle employs a dynamic pressure oil film design.
3. Adjust the wheel drive system
The wheel spindle drive has been upgraded to a Taiwan Delta Infinite Variable Speed Motor. The FX-18S speed control allows for adjustable speeds from 0-250 rpm (digital control), enabling the setting of any desired speed for optimal line speed. Even when the wheel's outer diameter changes, the same line speed is maintained, resulting in the best product finish.
The servo motor is ingeniously designed and mounted on the adjustment wheel housing, powered directly by synchronous belts. It can tilt simultaneously with the adjustment wheel during grinding, ensuring that the two belt pulleys remain parallel. It overcomes the inertia loss caused by multiple sections of chain transmission on the old-type centerless grinding machines and the numerous adverse effects of chain angles. Moreover, it avoids the frequent replacement of chains and tension springs.
