Section 2: Installation and Usage Instructions
1、 The foundation for installing the storage tank must be level and capable of withstanding the corresponding pressure. If a steel structure is used, the gaps should not be too large, and wooden or iron plates should be laid on top.
2、 Tanks storing chemicals should be equipped with proper drainage ditches and dilution facilities around the site.
3、 Due to the inevitable bulging inward of the tank's bottom during the molding process, the foundation must be shaped into a similar spherical crown (it is recommended to lay sand on a level base to form a spherical crown corresponding to the tank's bottom).
4、 Large-scale storage tanks must be installed with safety in mind, and cranes should be used as much as possible. If unsure, please contact us.
5、 Plastic connectors are tightened at the factory, but they may loosen during transportation and handling. Therefore, it is essential to inspect the sealing performance of the connectors before use. You can add liquid above the connector and observe for any leaks. For storage tanks containing chemical liquids, first test for leaks with water to prevent significant losses.
6、 Tubes connected to the bottom of the tank or flanges must be perpendicular to the barrel wall, and soft connections should be used preferentially to avoid uneven expansion of the barrel wall from top to bottom upon filling with liquid, which can lead to damage of the joint and leakage. In severe cases, it may even damage the joint and the barrel itself.
7、 When the liquid inlet is high above the tank bottom, the inlet should bend towards the tank wall to allow the liquid to flow down the wall, reducing impact on the bottom.
8、 Large-capacity storage tank20Above cubic meters, metal reinforcing sleeves can be used to limit the expansion and deformation of the drum at the joint, thereby preventing cracking at the hole.
9、 When installing heavier accessories such as mixers on drums, or when personnel need to work on the drum lid and it cannot bear their weight, please set up a platform or a personnel ladder, and pay attention to work safety.
10In cases where the liquid level cannot be controlled, an overflow outlet should be installed to prevent liquid from spilling out through the manhole, causing unnecessary harm.
11When the inflow and outflow flow rates are high, a corresponding exhaust pipe should be installed.
