1. Explosion-proof electrical distribution cabinets cooling issue
Due to the explosion-proof distribution cabinetAllComponents are housed in explosion-proof cavities, where air cannot circulate, making heat dissipation a critical issue for the distribution box. Here, we have adopted a new heat dissipation technology – heat pipe heat dissipation technology. (1) Principle of Heat Pipe Technology A heat pipe is a highly efficient heat transfer element with excellent thermal conductivity. It transfers heat through the evaporation and condensation of working fluid inside a fully sealed vacuum tube, offering high thermal conductivity, good isothermal performance, adjustable heat transfer areas on both sides, long-distance heat transfer capability, and controllable temperature, among other advantages. Heat exchangers composed of heat pipes have high heat transfer efficiency, compact structure, and low fluid resistance. (2) Structure Arrangement of the Inverter We designed the main circuit as a large unit, installed on the rear wall of the rectangular explosion-proof cavity. The rear wall is connected to the IGBT module, rectifier module, and other heat-generating elements through an intermediate heat dissipation radiator. A槽-shaped radiator is welded to the outer wall of the explosion-proof housing, and the intermediate heat dissipation radiator is connected to the槽-shaped radiator via heat pipes. The heat generated internally by the inverter is dissipated through the intermediate heat dissipation radiator and槽-shaped radiator in the rear wall of the explosion-proof cavity.
2. Explosion-proof Distribution Cabinet's Explosion-proof Treatment: Due to the high presence of explosive gases or dust in the environment where the distribution cabinet is used, it is required to be sealed and explosion-proof. Therefore, the cabinet cannot be made of a regular shell; it must be constructed with a standard explosion-proof compartment, housing all components within it. An observation window is opened on the explosion-proof compartment door, where the display section is mounted, and the start, stop, and speed control are installed on the door.
