1. Explosion-proof electrical distribution cabinets cooling issue
Due to the explosion-proof distribution cabinetAllComponents are housed in explosion-proof cavities, where air cannot circulate, making heat dissipation a critical issue for the distribution box. Here, we have adopted a new heat dissipation technology – heat pipe heat dissipation technology. (1) Principle of Heat Pipe Technology A heat pipe is a highly efficient heat transfer element with excellent thermal conductivity. It transfers heat through the evaporation and condensation of working fluid inside a fully sealed vacuum tube, offering high thermal conductivity, good isothermal performance, adjustable heat transfer areas on both sides, long-distance heat transfer capability, and controllable temperature, among other advantages. Heat exchangers composed of heat pipes have high heat transfer efficiency, compact structure, and low fluid resistance. (2) Structure Arrangement of the Inverter We designed the main circuit as a large unit, installed on the rear wall of the rectangular explosion-proof cavity. The rear wall is connected to the IGBT module, rectifier module, and other heat-generating elements through an intermediate heat dissipation radiator.
