Product Details

I. Vacuum Suspended Melting Furnace Equipment Application:

1. Primarily used for the production of metals with high melting points, high purity, and extreme reactivity, such as rare earth metals and alloys, uranium ore, alkaline earth metals, and their alloys.

High-purity metal materials, semiconductor single crystal materials such as high-purity target materials, coating materials, solar-grade multi-crystalline silicon, high-purity metals

3. Preparation of high-precision alloy components and compounds, such as intermetallic compounds, micro-alloyed materials, and materials with dispersed phases.

Preparation of high melting point refractory metals and alloys, such as refractory metals and alloys like Cr, ZrVHfNbMoTa, and precious metals and alloys like Pt, Rh, Ir.

5. Preparation of Research-grade Alloys. High demands on material purity, component accuracy, and uniformity are expected, with a goal to exclude impurities and interference from other elements.

Section II: Principle of Vacuum Suspended Melting Furnace Equipment

Vacuum magnetic levitation melting technique utilizes high-frequency or medium-frequency alternating magnetic fields to generate an electromagnetic force that counteracts gravity during metal melting, enabling the melt to levitate and separate from the crucible wall. This method, which integrates disciplines such as electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanics, physical chemistry, and metallurgy, has garnered widespread attention and is applied in various material preparation fields. The magnetic levitation effect allows the melt to detach from the crucible wall, changing the heat dissipation behavior from conduction to radiation, significantly reducing the cooling rate. This enables the melt to reach very high temperatures (1700-2500°C), suitable for melting high-melting-point metals or alloys. More importantly, the levitation of the charge during melting effectively prevents contamination from contact with the crucible wall, making it ideal for obtaining high purity or highly reactive metals.
