Transplant

Transplanting is best done in spring from February to March, and autumn is also suitable. The root ball should be kept intact, and the planting depth should not be too deep. If fertilizing at the time of planting, do so at the bottom of the hole to promote growth.

Large seedlings of Ligustrum lucidum are typically cultivated into hedgerow shrubs, spherical shapes, and natural forms. As hedgerows, they can be pruned heavily to stimulate the base to produce more branches, resulting in a lush shrub.
