Section 1: Introduction to FY Series Submersible Pumps

The FY series submerged pump is a new type of pump produced by improving the design on the basis of traditional submerged pumps, incorporating technology from similar products; it eliminates the mechanical seal commonly used in other submerged pumps and opts for a unique impeller structure, offering energy saving, zero leakage, and extended lifespan. This makes it widely applicable in industries such as petrochemicals, papermaking, metallurgy, and wastewater treatment.

Section 2: Features of FY Series Submersible Pumps:

1. The pump is a vertical submersible pump with an attractive design. It is directly installed on the storage tank of the medium being conveyed, occupying no additional floor space, thereby reducing infrastructure investment.

2. Eliminated mechanical seals, resolving the hassle of frequent maintenance for other submersible pumps due to the easy wear of mechanical seals, saving pump operation costs and enhancing work efficiency.

3. Utilizes a unique centrifugal double-balanced impeller for conveying clean media without solid particles, featuring ultra-low vibration and noise, and high efficiency; employs an open double-balanced impeller for transporting unclean liquids containing solid particles and short fibers, ensuring smooth operation and no clogging.

Section 3: Disassembly and Assembly of FY Series Submersible Pumps

1. If a replacement or inspection of the impeller is needed, shut off the outlet valve, remove the flange and bottom plate bolts, then use lifting equipment to hoist the pump out of the container.

2. Vertically position the base on a fixed bracket, remove all bolts from the pump body, take out the pump cover and impeller nuts, gently tap the pump body with a double hammer, and the impeller can be removed.

3. To replace the roller bearing, the base remains stationary. Simply remove the motor and its corresponding bracket, the pump coupling, the 31 cover, and the round nut, then remove the bearing housing.

4. Assembly and disassembly in the reverse order; pay attention to the concentricity of components on the shaft.

Section 4: Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of FY Series Submersible Pumps

1. After assembly of the pump, rotate the coupling and check for smooth operation. Inspect for any metallic rubbing sounds and ensure all components are securely tightened.

2. Check the concentricity of the pump shaft and motor shaft. The lateral difference between the outer circles of the upper and lower couplings should not exceed 0.1mm, and the clearance at the coupling end face should be maintained at 1-2.5mm.

3. The distance between the pump suction inlet and the bottom of the container should be 2 to 3 times the diameter of the suction inlet. The distance between the pump body and the container wall should be greater than 2.5 times the diameter.

4. The outlet piping of the pump should be supported by an independent bracket; its weight should not be supported by the pump.

5. Check the motor's rotation direction to ensure the pump rotates in the direction indicated.

6. Close the gate valve on the export pipeline and connect the water pipe.

7. Start the motor, gradually open the outlet valve to the critical position, and put it into normal operation.

8. Regularly inspect the pump and motor conditions. The bearing temperature should not exceed 75°C, and sufficient grease should be added to the bearing housing.
