The main inspection content for outdoor billboards includes: first, the strength of the steel structure and the quality of billboard installation; second, the appearance inspection of the steel structure's corrosion protection and joint connections. The structural materials for billboards are often Q235 or Q345 steel, as they are exposed to the elements over time, leading to inevitable rust and requiring regular inspections; third, the inspection of the foot bolts of the remote-controlled billboards and the foundation of the billboards. There are two types of forces acting on billboards: static forces, such as the weight of the billboard itself and lighting setups, which are constant, and variable forces, such as wind loads, snow loads, and loads during installation and maintenance, or occasional impacts from remote-controlled billboards, which are intermittent. Due to these forces, the base and bolt connections of the billboards may deform or loosen, so it is crucial to carefully check for any signs of this during inspections; fourth, the inspection of the electrical and lightning protection systems. After inspection, if any issues are found with the remote-controlled billboards, recommendations for treatment should be provided.
