Abstract:The wireless sensor network energy consumption monitoring system adds wireless sensor nodes to the water, electricity, heating, and other equipment as well as branch systems in the existing teaching buildings, training buildings, libraries, and student dormitory buildings on the old campus of a university. It measures the energy consumption data of all equipment and branch systems, with the data transmitted to the cloud platform server via gateways, where a real-time energy consumption database is established. The server management software analyzes and compares the statistical data to identify the main reasons for the energy consumption of the university's energy-consuming equipment. Based on this, targeted energy-saving plans and control measures are formulated to achieve the goal of energy-saving and efficiency improvement on the old campus of the university. The system employs wireless data collection and transmission, requiring minimal wiring, thereby maximizing the reduction in renovation costs for existing buildings. It achieves real-time data sharing and rapid, accurate control.
