Activated Alumina is a desiccant for trace amounts of water, highly suitable for non-heat regeneration systems. The applications of activated alumina are quite extensive. The role of Shandong Baer Chemical's activated alumina in production and daily life is as follows:
(1) Air Separation Desiccant
Special desiccant for air compressors, air separators, compressors, air filters, and pressure swing adsorption (PSA) industries. Used in oxygen production, textile, electronics, and petrochemical industries for gas drying, automatic instrument air drying, and as a desiccant and purifier. Φ3-5mm is commonly used for water vapor absorption where gas pressure drop requirements are minimal. Φ4-6mm sizes are used for fluid drying and other fluid absorption applications. It maintains excellent performance at low dew points and is suitable for various sizes of dryers. It is also applicable for drying gases in regeneration environments (350-600°F) and pressure swing (PSA) conditions.
Absorbent Agent
The application of adsorption and dehydration for various hydrocarbon gases, gas ##, and cracking gases. 2. Purification Agent: Activated aluminum oxide as a desulfurization and regeneration agent for transformer oil, used for the decolorization and purification of transformer oil.
(3) Fluoride Remover
Arsenic and fluoride removal agents for high-fluoride drinking water, fluoride removal for drinking and industrial water, alkylbenzene fluoride removal, and CFC industry fluoride removal. Fluoride compounds: Fluorides are commonly believed to be beneficial for dental health up to 1.5 PPM (parts per million). Fluoride poisoning can lead to weakened bone structures and dental discoloration and spots. Arsenic removal: In areas with high natural concentrations, arsenic causes arsenic poisoning and is a factor in various forms of cancer.
