The shot blasting cleaner features different grinding methods for various products, specifically including the following three:
Section 1: Centrifugal Grinding Method for Shot Blasting Machines
As the ordinary rotary grinding machine rotates at high speed, its material (mixture) is enclosed by the grinding trough. Since there is no relative motion between the workpiece and the abrasive stone, the difference in relative motion is greatly reduced. The centrifugal grinding method installs several grinding troughs on the rotating shaft of the rotating head disk to perform planetary rotation and provide centrifugal force. Due to the centrifugal force, the material rotates around the outer disk once, the grinding trough reverses once, and the material moves to the rotating direction that contacts the upper part of the grinding trough. Due to the pressure of the centrifugal force and the forced flow speed, the loose abrasive stones and workpieces in the material flow. Because of the flow, the relative motion is poor, which results in the grinding effect. The rotational speed is between 140 to 180 rpm, and the relative motion difference and centrifugal force proportional to the rotation number are enhanced. Its grinding effect exceeds that of the rotary grinding machine by 60 times and is 5 to 8 times that of the vibration elevator. The centrifugal grinding machine has excellent grinding capacity, demonstrating great grinding power. It is mainly used for the improvement of precision machinery such as watches, electronics, electrical components, especially for the grinding of small workpieces.
Section Two: Water Vortex Grinding Method for Shot Blasting Machines
The Water涡 grinding method involves grinding stones, water, and abrasives in a circular grinding trough mounted on a vertical or horizontal surface. As the abrasive trough rotates, the abrasives form a fine and rigid abrasive layer due to centrifugal force. Mounting the workpiece in the grinding layer results in a high-level grinding effect with a significant relative motion difference to the grinding stones.
Section 3: Shot Blasting Rotation Grinding Method
The rotary grinding method involves installing the workpiece, abrasive stone, abrasive agent, and water in a grinding trough and rotating them to create a flowing layer finish on the material surface. This method is more suitable for small and medium-sized parts and various small-batch workpieces. The vibratory shot peening grinding method: This method utilizes the relative motion difference between the abrasive stone and the workpiece generated by vibration, installing the workpiece, abrasive stone, abrasive agent, and water in the grinding trough. It eliminates the net space generated by the rotary grinding machine and utilizes the solvent within the grinding trough. This grinding method improves efficiency by 33 to 50 times compared to the rotary grinding machine, with no marks or deformation on the processed workpieces. It is currently a widely used grinding method.
