There is a wide variety of shot blasting machines, each type with its unique features, widely used across various industries. How many types of shot blasting machines are there, exactly? Today, we'll briefly introduce them.
Hoist Shot Blasting Machine
The overhead shot blasting machine is suitable for the surface cleaning or shot peening reinforcement of medium and small-scale castings, forgings, and other materials in industries such as foundry, engineering construction, chemical industry, electromechanical, and machine tools. It is particularly well-suited for the surface cleaning and shot peening enhancement of castings, forgings, and steel structural components in various products and small batch production, to remove minor adhered sand, sand cores, and oxidation scales from the workpieces; it is also applicable for the surface cleaning and reinforcement of heat-treated parts. Additionally, it is ideal for cleaning delicate, long, thin-walled, and easily broken products that are prone to damage. It is widely used in industries such as mechanical equipment manufacturing, engineering machinery, mining machinery, pressure vessel equipment, vehicle, and shipbuilding, to enhance the appearance quality and surface treatment technology of product components.
Pass-Through Shot Blasting Machine
The through-type shot blasting machine is primarily used in engineering construction, bridges, and other industries for removing pressure and rust from large I-beams, H-beams, steel beams, and other large-sized steel structural components. It operates using roller conveyors, whose total length can be customized according to the customer's steel specifications. The steel is hoisted onto the rotating roller conveyors, then transported into the shot blasting chamber by a variable-speed motor-driven conveyor chain. The surface of the steel is treated with shot blasting by eight blast pots (four on each side), which blast from various angles. The shot blasting intensity can be adjusted by modifying the speed and size of the steel shot. The through-type shot blasting machine is highly automated and well-suited for bulk production processing.
Three: Through-Hook Shot Blasting Machine
The through-hanging shot blasting machine is commonly used in industries such as light industry machinery, construction machinery, engineering equipment, mining equipment, pressure vessel equipment, vehicle manufacturing, shipbuilding, engineering construction, chemical industry, motors, and machine tools for the surface cleaning or strengthening of medium to large castings and forgings. It is employed to enhance the appearance quality and surface processing technology of product components. The machine operates continuously without interruption, boasts excellent oxidation resistance in steel equipment, and is easy to operate. Simply hang the product part and press the switch, and the machine will work on its own, requiring no manual intervention from start to finish, making it highly convenient and efficient.
