From April 7th to 9th, the 2022-2023 Guangdong Province Vocational College Students Professional Skills Competition, "Tour Guide Service" category, was successfully held at Zhuhai City Vocational Technical College. A total of 98 teams from 50 higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province participated in the competition.
The Guided Tour Service Competition aims to enhance the quality of talent cultivation in the field of tour guiding and to promote the growth and expansion of the specialized skill talent team. The competition consists of five parts and four rounds, including knowledge tests for tour guides, on-site script creation and explanation, and guided tours at selected attractions. It covers a wide range of knowledge with high difficulty, placing high demands on the competitors' personal qualities, knowledge foundation, skill levels, and on-the-spot adaptation abilities.

They also presented a range of innovative products, including a smart tourism training platform, AI artificial intelligence teaching training software, tourism big data, real-scene interactive teaching systems, and MR mixed reality interactive systems, which were all warmly praised by the teachers on site!
