Calcium chloride is an inorganic compound, a salt composed of chlorine and calcium elements, and is a typical ionic halide. It has a strong hygroscopic nature, and if exposed to air during storage, it can easily clump together. Today, we introduce three methods to prevent calcium chloride from clumping.
One: Sealed Packaging
When storing, the product should be sealed in packaging to prevent exposure to air. Otherwise, it's prone to absorb moisture from the air, leading to dampness.
Two: Allow full cooling
Calcium chloride must be adequately cooled before packaging; the temperature should not be too high. In case of particle adhesion, it should be promptly crushed to maintain uniformity of the particles.
Single-layer placement
When storing, items should be placed in a single layer and not stacked. Additionally, packages should be flipped at regular intervals during the storage process.
The methods for preventing calcium chloride from caking are introduced here. I hope they are helpful to you. We are a professional manufacturer of calcium chloride. For more information about calcium chloride, please continue to follow our future shares.
