Gearbox, also known as a reverser or directional drive, is a power transmission mechanism, a series within reducers, with wide applications in the industrial field. Gearboxes have now been standardized and offer various specifications. They come in single-axis, double transverse-axis, single longitudinal-axis, and double longitudinal-axis options. Gear ratio1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 2.5:1, 3:1, 4:1, and 5:1 are all actual drive ratios. The steering box can operate in both directions, providing smooth low or high-speed transmission. When the speed ratio is not 1:1, the transverse axis input and longitudinal axis output are for deceleration, while the longitudinal axis input and transverse axis output are for acceleration.
