3Cr13 Round Bar

Product Description

3Cr13 Stainless Steel Tube Standard: GB/T1220-1992, belongs to the martensitic type stainless steel. This steel has good machinability, and after heat treatment (quenching and tempering), it boasts excellent corrosion resistance, high polishing performance, strength, and wear resistance. It is suitable for manufacturing plastic molds that withstand high loads, high wear resistance, and exposure to corrosive media. The 3Cr13 material with a hardness below HRC30 after tempering treatment has good machinability and is easy to achieve good surface quality. However, when the hardness exceeds HRC30, the parts machined have good surface quality but are prone to tool wear. Therefore, after the material is received, it should first be tempered to achieve a hardness of HRC25-30, followed by cutting processing.
