There are many things to be aware of when using axial flow pumps, as improper operation can lead to pump damage or even destruction. Whether it's pre-operation preparation, shutdown checks, or routine maintenance, attention to proper operation is essential.
Critical Pre-Operation Inspection for Axial Flow Pumps
When measuring relevant resistances, select a 500-volt megohmmeter. It is specified that the relative resistance between the centrifugal pump motor and the ground exceeds 20Ω, and the resistance between the motor and the wire junction is less than 4
2. Inspect all connections and stationary parts of the equipment, ensuring that the fastening status of the fixed parts is indicated.
3. Compare the rated operating current and various main operating parameters on the pump's factory label, conduct a trial run of the pump, verify the relevant data and information in the operating natural environment, ensuring that the main parameters such as working voltage and frequency are consistent.
4. Prior to pump installation, conduct a safety inspection on items such as the crane hook being lifted, and perform a trial lift on the pump's net weight. Safety must be paramount during the installation of the axial flow pump to prevent accidents.
