Utilize high-pressure jetting (approximately 500 bars of pressure) or sandblasting (using a vacuum cleaner to blow dust off surfaces), and then vacuum clean with a vacuum cleaner. Clear loose particles and debris from the chimney's surface using a manual mud shovel. The cement-based surface should be firm, dense, and smooth, with all joints not exceeding 5mm in flatness. Fill detected cracks with polymer cement mortar to match the surface for coating. The underlayer should be moist, and the surface must not be flaky.
Construction Requirements for Chimney Corrosion Protection
Construction employs spray irrigation.
During the application of anti-corrosion coatings, the temperature of the chimney walls and the surrounding environment should be above +5°C.
3. The anticorrosion system uses natural drying methods, with each coating layer taking 24 hours or more to dry. During the drying process of the anticorrosive layer, it is essential to maintain a clean surrounding environment to prevent dust, rain, snow, water, and contact.
4. Chimney coating ensures safety. During高空 operations, the chimney should be treated for corrosion prevention, and safety helmets and harnesses must be worn.
Chimney interior wall anti-corrosion coating application method: Before spraying on the base, ensure the base is fully soaked with water but without any standing water. The environmental temperature should be above +5°C, and humidity requirements must be met. Mix water and liquid uniformly according to the feed ratio, then add the powder, and thoroughly stir with a mixer or similar tool.
Note: Due to the strict ratio of materials, only at this ratio will the materials produce a good reaction. Therefore, mixing powder with liquid or water is prohibited. Undercoat: Spray or apply a mixed undercoat on the surface. The finish should be even, with no drips or leaks. Do not water the coated surface within 24 hours to avoid disrupting the internal chemical reaction process of the coating, which may lead to a decrease in material performance or even render it ineffective.
The primer should be painted or coated twice after 24 hours of application. Soak the primer with water before painting. Avoid watering the coated surface within the first 24 hours to prevent damaging the chemical reaction process within the coating, which may reduce material performance or even render it ineffective. Surface treatment: Apply evenly to the intermediate coating after 24 hours.
