The installation process for long or short fiber geotextiles involves overlapping, stitching, and welding. The width of stitching and welding for fabrics exposed to the elements over a long period is generally about 20 centimeters. Once the geotextile overlaps are done, all stitching is performed continuously, and any missed stitching on the stitched geotextile must be re-sewn.
