6. Deformation Detection of Overall Structure


Monitor horizontal and vertical displacement, tilt, and cracks in buildings; horizontal displacement and settlement can both be used to calculate the tilt amount. The tilt of the foundation can be calculated through the difference in settlement, while tall structures and multi-story buildings typically use the drop point method to calculate tilt.
