Why Should You Conduct Safety Inspections for Your Home? Therefore, it's essential to regularly inspect your home, especially during stormy and thunderstorm seasons. This not only extends the lifespan of the home but more importantly, prevents accidents related to home safety.

What is a building structure? The structure of a building refers to the load-bearing framework composed of components such as the foundation, columns, beams, and walls. Prior to construction, the settlement (or differential settlement) of the building is calculated to assess the bearing capacity and residual bearing capacity of the building structure, followed by determining the residual deformation capacity (settlement or differential settlement). For buildings with special characteristics, such as wooden structures with column foundations, in addition to determining the settlement control values for each column foundation, the control values for horizontal displacement (or relative horizontal displacement) between adjacent column foundations should also be established.

Off-site inspection projects include: concrete structure component testing using concrete core drilling methods to measure concrete strength; steel structure component testing using tensile strength test methods to assess steel specimen tensile strength, and bending strength test methods to evaluate the bending deformation capability of steel specimens; wooden structure component testing involving wood's longitudinal compressive, tensile, and shear strength tests, bending strength and elastic modulus tests, and transverse compressive strength tests. House evaluation and testing process: collect original documents such as geological survey reports, completion drawings, and engineering acceptance files, and supplement engineering geological surveys if necessary. Inspect and record the damaged locations, extent, and scope of the house foundation, load-bearing structures, and protective structures. Analyze the characteristics, structural arrangement, and seismic measures of the house structure, and recheck the seismic bearing capacity.
