　　Feature characteristics

　　The Huanghuaihai summer corn variety matures in 102.0 days from seedling emergence, 1.0 day earlier than the control Zhengdan 958. Seedling sheaths are purple, leaves are green, anthers are purple, the plant type is compact, with a plant height of 274 cm, ear height of 108 cm, and about 19 fully developed leaves. The ear is long and cylindrical, with a length of 17.0 cm, 14-18 rows, red ear shank, kernels are yellow and semi-dentate, with an average kernel weight of 36.2 grams.

　　Adaptability

　　Participated in the Huang-Huai-Hai Summer Corn Group regional trials in 2019-2020, achieving an average yield of 692.1 kg per mu over two years, a 7.0% increase over the control Zhengdan 958. In the 2020 production trial, the average yield was 662.4 kg per mu, a 4.1% increase over the control Zhengdan 958. Disease resistance assessment: moderately resistant to ear rot.
