Absorbent resins feature a unique hydrophilic property.
Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) is a new type of functional polymer material. It is a synthetic resin with hydrophilic groups that can absorb and swell with a large amount of water while retaining it, such as starch-grafted acrylic acid salts, grafted acrylamide, high-substitution degree crosslinked carboxymethyl cellulose, crosslinked carboxymethyl cellulose grafted acrylamide, and crosslinked ethylcellulose grafted acrylamide polymers, which can generally absorb more than 100 times their own volume of water, with the highest absorption rate exceeding 1000%. It is commonly used as disposable materials like diapers and sanitary napkins, and also as sealing materials in industry.
