V-groove rack and pinion and straight rack and pinion
The gear rack drive offers high transmission power, fast speed, and can be spliced to any length; the roller linear guide has the advantages of high speed, accurate positioning, and can be spliced to achieve ultra-long travel. Both the roller linear guide and the gear rack have the feature of achieving ultra-long travel through splicing, making them particularly suitable for long-travel applications in factory automation. Machining the gear rack on the linear guide or assembling the gear rack onto the linear guide creates an integrated rack-and-guide system.桁架机器人, automatic loading and unloading, and other factory automation projects widely utilize this rack-and-guide system. The V-guide rack has straight or oblique teeth milled directly on the back of the single V-guide, eliminating alignment issues associated with separate assembly of the guide and rack. Available module options for the rack include 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.5. The flat guide rack has straight or oblique teeth milled on the back, forming straight or oblique racks, thereby eliminating alignment issues when assembling the flat guide and rack separately. Typically, the flat guide rack is paired with the V-guide rack, serving as two parallel guides for large spans, driven by a single motor, with two gears performing synchronized movement on the racks of both the flat guide and V-guide. This feature is well-suited for ultra-long travel and large-span gantry robot applications.
