Thick-walled coil pipe thermal insulation requirements

The overhead sections of the recirculating water replenishment pipes, the automatic filtration system's in and out water overhead sections, and the pump in and out water overhead sections are insulated with rock wool pipe shells.

Trench pipelines must be treated for corrosion protection before construction. The installation of the thermal insulation layer, moisture barrier, and protective layer must comply with the requirements of the design institute and the specifications of the thermal insulation structure diagram.

The welding of hook bolt trays and supporting components should be robust, and the spacing of their arrangement should comply with design requirements.

Insulation support components must not be exposed. The width of the support components should be less than 10mm narrower than the thickness of the insulation layer, with a minimum width of 20mm.

During insulation installation, the surface should be level, joints should be staggered reasonably, and arcs should be even. The binding on each (section) product should not be less than two layers, and the construction method should not involve continuous winding. The thickness of the insulation layer should be greater than 80mm, and the thickness of the refrigerant preservation layer sh

Insulate layer construction requires leaving space for instrument openings, markings, and equipment labels.

During the application of insulating coating, it should be directly applied to the outer surface of the equipment. The coating should be applied in layers with even distribution; no bubbles or missed spots are allowed.

Moisture-proofing Layer Construction Methods and Technical Measures

When wrapping with felt paper, the lap joints should be 30-50mm for circumferential overlaps and vertical overlaps. All laps should be sealed with asphalt mastic or water-based asphalt emulsion. The lap joints of vertical equipment and pipes should face downwards, and the vertical joints of horizontal equipment with horizontal pipes should be biased to one side, and tied with galvanized wire.

Construction Methods and Technical Measures for Protective Coating

The equipment features a protective layer made of 0.5mm steel sheet, with piping also utilizing 0.5mm steel sheet for protection. The tolerance for the protective layer material cutting should not exceed 2mm. The installation dimensions are to be left with a clearance of 30 to 50mm, and the wire compression height is 5 to 10mm.
