In the modern industrial production system, the machine processing workshop plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of precision components, with its production environment significantly impacting product quality, production efficiency, and equipment operation stability.
Among them, temperature and humidity are crucial indicators for the environment in machine processing workshops. Properly controlling both is essential for ensuring processing accuracy and optimizing the processing process.
On one hand, processing equipment such as CNC machines, their mechanical structures and electronic components are sensitive to temperature and humidity. High temperatures can easily lead to equipment thermal expansion, affecting processing accuracy, and even triggering equipment failure; excessive humidity may cause the equipment to become damp, reducing the lifespan and reliability of electronic components.
On the other hand, different processing techniques also have specific requirements for temperature and humidity, such as precision grinding that must be conducted in a stable temperature and humidity environment to ensure micron-level processing accuracy; for certain specialized materials like composites and high-precision alloys, the changes in temperature and humidity during the processing directly affect the material properties and processing outcomes.
Generally, the temperature in the machine processing workshop should be maintained between 20°C and 25°C, with humidity controlled between 40% and 60%. This temperature and humidity environment ensures both the proper operation of processing equipment and the precision of the work, as well as the comfort of the workers.
However, for high-precision machining or processing of special materials, more stringent temperature and humidity control may be required. For instance, precision grinding may necessitate temperature control within ±2℃ of 20°C and humidity control between 45%-55%; when processing certain special alloys or composite materials, adjustments to temperature and humidity parameters may need to be made according to the recommendations of the material supplier.
